Our Community Impact
Praise Tabernacle, Inc. explores opportunities to work towards establishing and maintaining relations with the community at large. Praise Tabernacle seeks to use the example portrayed by Jesus Christ in the gospels of meeting individuals in the community where they are, addressing the needs, but ultimately leading them to a place of understanding of the true need and safety in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Use of Facilities
Praise Tabernacle offers the use of its facilities to community residents for life-changing events such as weddings, baby showers, dedications, ordinations, funerals. We are pleased to care for your needs at extremely modest costs. For more information, call or email the church office.
Local School Adoption
Praise Tabernacle promotes and supports the education and development of youth. The nearby community William Worsdworth School (Public School 48) has been adopted and volunteer services are provided weekly. Praise Tabernacle grants annual achievement awards to students who excel in various areas.
Youth Program
The Youth Program which meets every Friday from 6:30PM – 9PM is open to community residents. The program provides recreation and training and development to youth. The program also seeks to promote better relationships between youth and their families.
On-Site After School Care
After school day care is held on the Praise Tabernacle site through its affiliation with the Sutphin Blvd Day Care Program. For more information.
Overcomer’s Fellowship
The Overcomer’s Fellowship offers hope to individuals who may be struggling with drug addictions such as narcotics or alcohol or other compulsive or negative behaviors.
Televised Broadcasts
Dr. Caesar R. Cabiness can be heard preaching and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ on the airwaves of Queens Public Television (QPTV). Tune into weekly broadcasts on Wednesdays at 3:30 PM channel 56 and Sundays at 6:00 PM on channel 56.
Annual Community Fun Day
The Outreach Ministry of Praise Tabernacle, Inc hosts a day of activities for the whole family annually. This is a free community event where families are treated to a day of food, fun, education and entertainment.
Confirmed Truth
Confirmed Truth under the executive leadership of Dr. Caesar R. Cabiness is a teaching ministry purposed in serving local church Pastors and their congregations. Confirmed Truth is composed of a network of available ministers and teachers, who are dispatched to train, develop and maintain balance in scriptural truths in a wide variety of subject areas such as: Doctrinal, Church government, Leadership, Ministry and more. Local churches are encouraged to call to arrange for workshops, seminars, and training and development sessions as needed. Confirmed Truth broadcasts on Queens Public Television on Fridays at 10:00 AM on channel 34 and Fridays at 8:30 PM on channel 56.
